Inburgeringsexamen A2
The five parts of the civic integration exam. Each is booked and sat separately, so they do not have to happen on the same day or in this order.

- Pen and paper. A short letter and filling in forms — this is the one part that is not done on a computer.

Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I (B1)
The B1 route, and the one naturalisation may move to. Four parts, considerably longer than their A2 equivalents.

- Eight short answers of about twenty seconds and eight medium ones of about thirty.
Where these numbers come from
Durations and formats are as published by DUO and the Staatsexamen NT2 organisers. Some item counts are genuinely not published, and a few we have marked unconfirmed. Exam formats change — the KNM eindtermen changed on 1 July 2025 — so check the official page before you book.
Which of these apply to you?
That depends on your route, and it is the question the quiz exists to answer. Most people need fewer of these than they expect.
